We are pleased to be the recipient of a $10,000 grant from The Feigenbaum Foundation to assist in our efforts of restoring the historic cast iron fence that graces our property! This Foundation perpetuates the charitable legacy of the late Dr. Armand and Donald Feigenbaum, who have done so much for non-profits and cultural organizations in our city and county. The St. Joseph community sincerely appreciates their generosity, and prays that God continues to bless the good work this Foundation does, quietly improving and assisting the lives of numerous individuals and organizations. As you may have observed, the restoration is about two thirds complete, and the craftsmen are doing an outstanding job. The fence and gates will look as elegant as they did when built in 1873, along with the addition of a handsome new arch over the main entryway. We have just applied for funds from the city's Community Preservation Act program in the hope that this will provide enough money to complete this project within the calendar year. Prayers and donations welcome !
