The Food Pantry of St. Joseph would love to be able to give our clients some fresh vegetables like squash, tomatoes, peppers, lettuce, etc. As some parishioners are planting your garden, it would be a blessing for us if you had space available, to plant some extra seeds and donate this to the church on Tuesdays any week that the produce is available. Some efforts have been made city wide but this would be for our parish only. If you are able to do this, please let Michele know who you are and if you have any interest in being involved. God bless you as you think of our clients.
Hello Friends and Neighbors, A special collection will be taken up at all weekend Masses on May 9th and 10th to aid our brothers and sisters in Nepal. Please remember the dead as well as all those left behind to rebuild their lives. You can send in donations in an envelope marked Nepal. These donations will be sent to the diocese and sent abroad. Thank you. Also please remember a local couple, the Russo's, who are on vacation in Nepal (they are safe). Also please pray for peace on our city streets especially in Baltimore. Thank you Fr. Mike - St Joseph's Church Pittsfield MA
Thank you to the Pittsfield Post Office, its workers and the patrons of the city for the most generous donation of food during the recent “Stamp Out Hunger” food drive held on May 9, 2015. The love and generosity of all make our pantry proud to be a part of this community. Our shelves are full thanks to your concern for the less fortunate of our city. God bless you for all you have done. You have certainly helped to stamp out hunger and delivered a beautiful assortment of food to us!
