Last weekend after Mass one of our parishioners came up to me and said this is a little something extra for the parish. It was a check for $5,000.00. This does not happen too often. At this time of the year it is greatly appreciated. As at many parishes, when CCD stops, church attendance drops too. I don't like talking about money. I know that many of us can't make a generous gift of $5,000 but if we all used our envelopes it could help. I notice in the newspaper that folks remember their church instead of flowers. When making prearranged funerals plans, please remember the parish. I do thank all of you who contribute to the parish in so many ways. Treasure is one way of helping but the time and talent part is also so important. For this ad for so many other things I am so grateful. Fr. Mike
