Winter decorations may be placed on lots starting November 1st. One wreath or flower box is allowed per lot. Cemetery gates will close at 4:00 PM beginning Sunday, November 4th.
Holiday Traditional 5 inch Canadian Meat Pies, "Tourtiere", consisting of beef, pork, potato, onion, celery and spices at $5.00 each, frozen, uncooked pies, a limited number will be made and sold to order. The Meat Pies will be available to be picked up at St. Joseph Holiday Bazaar at St. Joseph Parish Center on Saturday November 17, 2018, from 9 AM until 12 noon. The Pope Pius the Tenth awards will be hosted by St Joseph Parish for the Berkshire honorees for their service as CCD teachers on Thursday November 8th at 7PM.
A mass for All Souls Day, celebrated by Msgr. Michael Shershanovich, will be held at St. Michael the Archangel Chapel Mausoleum at St. Joseph's Cemetery, on Friday, November 2nd at 11:00 PM. Everyone is invited and please bring a chair.
St. Joseph Church Fall Clean Up, Volunteer opportunities, starting 8 AM Sat., October 20, 2018, until 2 PM, mostly outside activities, weather permitting. RCIA (The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) - This is a process for adults who would like to enter the Catholic Church or for those individuals wishing to complete their sacraments of initiation. The sessions will last about 1 hour and will begin on Wed., October 17, 2018 at 6:30 p.m. in the North Chapel.

ANNUAL ANNIVERSARY MASS - Anniversary Mass for Married Couples. Bishop Mitchell T. Rozanski cordially invites all married couples to celebrate their significant wedding anniversaries in 2017/2018 with a special Mass on Sunday, October 21st at 4:00 PM, at St. Michael’s Cathedral, Springfield, Mass. Many couples celebrating 25th and 50th anniversaries attend every year, but any couple wishing to remember their anniversary with this special liturgy are also most welcome. The ST. ANNE SOCIETY meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at 6 p.m. This is an important meeting as we will be voting for a new slate of officers for the next two years. The nominating committee has prepared a slate, but other candidates can be introduced from the members present at the meeting. Members are reminded that their presence is needed at the Holy Hour on each second Wednesday of the month. Holy hour begins at 11 o’clock in the chapel. Our prayer is for an increase in all vocations. Proudly, wear your medals.
K of C CASINO NIGHT 2018 Coming October 20th Save the date as Knights of Columbus Council #411 in Dalton prepares a fun-filled evening to benefit the council’s Toy and Charity Fund. The fundraiser is scheduled Saturday, Oct. 20, from 7-11 p.m. in the St. Agnes parish hall in Dalton. Guests will play for chances to win non-cash prizes through a Chinese raffle.
