As we welcome 2023, May we thank Almighty God for all his blessings and goodness to us in 2022. The new year will bring major changes to our St Joseph’s family. We entrust our “Fr Goodie” to the intercession and care of Our Blessed Mother under her title of the Immaculate Heart, his new patron. He is our gift to his new parish. He leaves us with prayers of gratitude for his ministry at St. Joseph’s. We open our hearts in welcome to Fr. Robert and promise him our love and gratitude. We pray that he will be happy at St Joseph’s. It was wonderful to see so many of you at the Masses. Thank you for worshiping with us. I hope you will continue coming to Mass each weekend. We are not complete without you.
The food pantry is in need of staples. We provided meals for more than 100 families Christmas week. This weekend is Meals on Wheels deliveries. God bless your generosity.
Thank you for all the prayers and good wishes I received while I was in the hospital. God bless us all in this new year. May we be the Gospel, the Good News to all we meet. May we live in peace.

The response to our request for clothing to benefit BCAC’s boutique was overwhelming and heartwarming! Donations poured in, more than we had hoped for at our annal pre-Christmas Tea held this year at the Rectory, bags and bags of coats, pjs, sweatshirts, beautiful handknit hats, mittens, socks and more filled the room with brand new items for children to choose. Also collected were hats and gloves for John A. to distribute to his middle school students enough for all who will benefit by the generous giving of our St. Anne members and others. Indeed we are helping to “KEEP OUR KIDS BERKSHIRE WARM”! A big THANK YOU to Msgr. Mike, Fr. Michael and Bishop Tim for opening up their home to the 45 women from all parishes who attended the tea. The sight of the beautifully decorated Rectory, the hot coffee, tea and refreshments and the lively conversations in each of the rooms made for an afternoon to cherish and remember. Later at the four o’clock Mass we welcomed two new members, Alice Archey and Mary Miner, to our active and growing society. All of this added to the hope and anticipation of the Advent Season. Thank you to everyone!
